Friendship

My family is absolutely my best friend.  Hopefully when I start working I will meet more people.  Do I need friends in the gospel? Will see

Gospel is an equalizer

Everyone will have an opportunity to join.
The priesthood is in each home

Our family home evening this past Sunday, we read President Henry B. Eyring's talk "Education for Real Life". The quote that hit me the hardest was "It takes neither modern technology nor much money to seize the opportunity to learn in the moments we now waste. You could just have a book and paper and pencil with you. That will be enough. But you need determination to capture the leisure moments you now waste." I feel that I waste too much time.

Heavenly Father knows best

Today I was turned down for what I thought was my dream job.  It required me commuting to the city.  I trust what Heavenly Father  has planned for me.  He knows what is best & he has plans for me.  I know I will find the job that is best for my family & for his work.

Goals

My first goal is to be a daughter of God.  I need to regularly read scriptures, write in my journal, say my prayers & complete my family history

My 2nd goal is to be the best wife & mother by putting them ahead of everything

My 3rd goal is to magnify my calling by doing my visiting teaching, finding people for the missionary to teach, & preparing for nursery in advance. 

My final goal is to find a fulfilling career.
